Under our By-Laws, the Fort Bend County LEPC elects three Officers for two-year terms starting on September 1 of even-numbered years; our fiscal year runs from September 1 to August 31 of each year.

Chairman:    Raymond Engelhardt, NRG Texas
Vice Chair:   Shayne Carter, Fluor Corporation
Secretary-Treasurer:    Kevin Kress, Fort Bend County EMS

The Fort Bend County LEPC has four Standing Committees to carry out the LEPC's activities.  Each Member of the LEPC must volunteer to serve on at least one Committee.  Committee Chairs are elected by their respective Committees:

Administrative and Finance Committee:  Wilbur Miller, Miller Safety Consultants
Emergency Notification, Response, and Resources Committee:  Danny Jan, Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office
Hazardous Materials Facilities Committee:  Mike Hafer, Richmond Fire Department
Public Education and Information Committee:  Ron Drachenberg, Fort Bend County Engineer

The Executive Committee consists of the three Officers and four Committee Chairs and coordinates the activities of the Standing Committees and any Ad Hoc Committees created by the Chairman.

Members of the Fort Bend County LEPC represent various categories as required under EPCRA, including: community groups, elected local or state official, emergency management, emergency medical service, environmental group, fire fighting, hospital, industrial facility, law enforcement, pipeline company, print or broadcast media, public health, railroad, and other interested community representatives.
