Next Meeting

The LEPC meeting at 3pm on May 17, 2012, has been cancelled.  The next meeting of the Fort Bend County LEPC is scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2012, at the Fort Bend County Office of Emergency Management located at 307 Fort Street in Richmond, TX.  The public is invited to attend.

The Fort Bend County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) is a non-profit community organization that develops plans and programs to educate, warn, and protect the residents of Fort Bend County, Texas in case of a chemical release from an industrial facility, pipeline or railroad.  Members include representatives from emergency management, law enforcement, fire, emergency medical services, health care, education, industry, transportation, non-profit organizations, and other interested citizens of Fort Bend County.
